!!! NEW(s)!!!  Truck Mounted Attenuator

JD Nederland Traffic Safety Systems,

the European leading Mobile Traffic Equipment Supplier.

!!! The best tested Crash Cushion in the World !!!

Our Crash Cushions has been tested and passed ALL optional and mandatory requirements suggested in the NCHRP-350 Report for speeds up to 62.5 mph (100 km/h) and is the only Crash Cushion that pass the Highway Agency UK test for impacts up to 70 mph (110 km/h).

Safe and economical design !!!

Our crash cushions are revolutionary in the European Traffic Managment Industry. The modular design creates an unbeatable standard of performance. This unique Crash Cushion brings many benefits to the users.

  • Low profile and open tubular design
  • minimises wind resistance and drag
  • allows you to drive at speed limits safely
  • increases rear visibility
  • improves fuel economy

The lightweight, aluminum construction of the tubes is corrosion resitant and weighs just over 900 kg.

Maximum Protection !!!

With its modular design, this crash cushion crushes in progressive stages upon impact thus reducing repair costs as only the sections of the cushion that are actually damaged need to be replaced. The aluminum boxes are filled with moisture-proof, aluminum material which absorbs the energy from an impacting vehicle.

The unique curved design redirects side angle impacts away from the exposed corner of the truck, offering full width impact protection along the entire length of the cushion. Other manufacturer's models have a little or no side-angle impact protection.

Versatile and compact !!!

Our Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA) can be easily and quickly mounted to, or removed from, the truck. It's compact and modular design when folded creates very little overhang beyond the rear of the truck. This TMA can be easily mounted directly to the frame of most trucks, in order to accommodate a variety of truck models. JD Nederland can supply various brackets and extension frames to increase the versatility of trucks.
