Our Crash Cushions have been succesfully tested in accordance with the American NCHRP 350 standard.

Test 2-50 was done using a sedan weighing 820 kg at a speed of 70 km/hour, test 2-51 was done with a Pick-Up Truck of 2000 kg at a speed of 70 km/hour and the optional offset-crash tests 2-52 and 2-53 were done using a Pick-Up Truck weighing 2000 kg at a speed of 70 km/hour

Test 3-50 was done with a sedan weighing 820 kg at a speed of 100 km/hour, test 3-51 was executed with a Pick-Up Truck weighing 2000 kg at a speed of 100 km/hour and the optional offset-crash tests 3-52 and 3-53 done using a Pick-Up Truck of 2000 kg at a speed of 100 km/hour.

In order to properly control traffic and ensure the safety of both road workers and travelers during road works and calamities   JD Nederland has developed two types of Truck Mounted Attenuators. Our TMA's are easy to operate and simple to maintain. The JD-CMA-9000 is a crash absorber in container form. It can be utilized by trucks using a cable, chain or hook-arm container stem giving it extreme flexibility. This Truck Mounted Attenuator in this format can also be used as an Arrow Board Trailer when stationary.

The JD-TMA-9000 is a Truck Mounted Attenuator which by use of a DIN plate or strong hooks is easily connected to the back of a truck. It's uniquely developed hydraulic system makes sure the crash cushion is always in horizontal position. Both crash absorbers have been tested and approved in accordance with regulations listed in the NCHRP 350 rapport and are suited to absorb shocks at 50, 70 en 100 km/hour. As official importer of
U-MÄD and Renco crash cushions we are certified to produce, mount, and repair crash absorber systems. JD NEDERLAND always keeps a number of crash cushions in stock so that in case of damage you'll be able to continue your activities.

Furthermore, we'll gladly inform you about various types and options available such as signal devices in LED format, remote control, usages on secondary roads, battery chargers etc. We are also able to build you a made to measure TMA. Besides this we can advice you how to mount your crash cushion on an enhanced trailer (9000 Kg.), Tractor, Sweep- suck wagons etc.
